“Be good, see you tomorrow. I love you.”
Irene and Alex is inspired by the true story of research scientist Irene Pepperberg and her subject Alex. They spent thirty years trying to understand each other, and we are trying to continue their work. This is a new devised performance about love, communication and grief.
Irene and Alex was performed as a scratch at the Tron Theatre’s ‘Outside Eyes’ event in March 2016, and was further developed as part of a Tron Lab in January 2017.
It will premiere in 2018.
Created and performed by Pete Lannon and Kim Donohoe.
